After an hour and a half of futile efforts, the neighbour finally brought a 2 cm longer tightening screw, which easily solved everything - it was then easily removed. In my opinion, should be straight supply a longer screw to tighten, would make it much easier to mount the filtration
After a week of use, it is too early to make any serious quality assessment. So far it fulfills its function - it filters quite well, BUT. I would consider buying it for the second time.
Compared to the previous version, it is much simpler, putting on the hoop to seal the hinge was a huge problem. That took real brute force, no gentle tapping with a rubber mallet. I was afraid the hoop would hold up. If I hadn't watched the video of the assembly of the previous version, I probably wouldn't have assembled it from the attached crappy assembly guide. I don't understand why Marimex took such a step backwards. I'm really curious how many seasons it will last.
