I don't know if I'm an exception, but after it burned my face after one use instead of curing my acne, I definitely don't recommend it.

After applying it at night I had red spots everywhere I put it in the morning and where it spread even lines, then scabs formed on those places and downright small scars (not acne but reaction to the ointment just where I put it) and even after 14 days I can't get rid of it. I've never been allergic to anything or experienced a similar reaction.
