I've only had the binoculars for a short time. I consider Levenhuk more of a brand for the "masses", not a pro device. That's why I find his price higher. Anyway, the rangefinder is robust, gives a nice sharp image, there are no obvious optical flaws. So I guess it's true about the coated lenses and quality glass in the description. It holds well, but the focusing roller is huge, I don't know why, it's more of a hindrance. I didn't worry so much about price when I bought it, I just wanted a scope that I could unpack and be happy with. This one did. But I'm not an expert or a hunter or anything like that.
