Great for observing the surroundings. Very decent for the price.
The fairly sturdy tripod in the package was a surprise. It's not mentioned anywhere.

Impossible to hang on the neck. Aside from the included hand lanyard being flawed, the binoculars are too heavy for this use. Moreover, the cord attachment is absolutely ridiculous, the three flimsy threads in the tripod place loosen easily - it is impossible to tighten, unless I take pliers - but then I have to carry them everywhere. No problem with the tripod, it holds well.
