I use this shampoo for regular daily washing, especially on days when I don't need any special styling but just want clean, lightweight, and natural-looking hair.
I am very happy with the result. My hair feels lovely after washing, it isn't flat, and my scalp is absolutely fine. I haven't noticed any itching, irritation, or dandruff.
I also had a quick look at the ingredients. The shampoo contains classic SLES, whose cleansing effect is softened by a combination with other surfactants and caring ingredients, such as glycerine and PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate. It also includes Polyquaternium-10, which helps improve combability. Overall, the formula seems sensibly put together, even though it is certainly nothing particularly innovative.
However, if I skip conditioner, my hair tends to frizz. But I don't consider this a major drawback, as I mainly expect quality cleansing from a shampoo, while smoothing the lengths is, in my opinion, the job of subsequent care.
The only thing I'm slightly hesitant about is the price-to-ingredients ratio. Similarly formulated shampoos can be found cheaper, and with La Roche-Posay, the brand is undoubtedly reflected in the price. Even so, I like using their skincare and this shampoo suits me so well that I can accept the higher price.
Overall, a very good shampoo for regular use, although in terms of ingredients and price, I wouldn't call it completely unbeatable.
Gently and effectively cleanses, does not weigh down the hair, maintains natural volume, and does not irritate the scalp. A well-formulated cleansing base complemented by glycerin and conditioning ingredients. Suitable for daily use.
Higher price considering the rather average ingredients. Without a conditioner, my hair frizzes a bit. It contains fragrance, which might not suit very sensitive skin.
