I bought them because they are supposed to provide almost the same as the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 I had before these. I find the Michelins a hair better, more confident in the corners. It feels like the PS5s have a slightly stiffer sidewall, less "float" at higher speeds, and one gets a stronger "go-kart" feeling when the car goes immediately behind the wheel. The PS5 just fits a hair better. But the price difference makes up for it. I am very satisfied with the PS72. After putting them on the Mondeo S, I immediately went to the mountains to Šumava - Plzeň -> Sušice -> Rejštějn -> Kvilda. Before the hills it was dry and the temperature was ideal, in the hills it was raining and even though the temperatures were still below 7°C, the tyres were surely working even under prolonged load - constant hard braking into corners, sharp cornering in dry and wet conditions, out of corners immediately under throttle. I did not observe any significant softening of the tyres. For the price, I'm thrilled with them. I would only slightly criticize the stronger pulling on the steering wheel and slight aquaplaning when crossing deeper puddles compared to Michelin PS5, which better drains water, but this is expected and is also seen in the test results. In normal non-sporting driving you probably won't notice it, especially if you don't have experience with premium UHP tyres from Michelin or Continental, or if you are not an experienced and enthusiastic driver like me. They are great for the price and I can only recommend them.
