If you’re looking for a fragrance with panache, character or perhaps a bit of depth, you’ve come to the wrong place. Magnolia is pure, undiluted floral boredom. It’s exactly the sort of scent that instantly reminds you of those cheap shampoos from back when we were little boys and used to bathe in ‘birch shampoo’. Personally, I find this absolutely horrifying. Unless you’re the sort of woman who wants to smell like a ‘1995-style bathroom’, steer clear. It’s bland, over-the-top with flowery patterns, and has absolutely no place in the wardrobe of a man who appreciates quality. One of those fragrances where the name ‘Magnolia’ promises more than the bottle can deliver.
Perhaps just that it isn’t an aggressive chemical assault on the nose. It’s just ‘clean’, which might be fine for someone looking for a soapy scent.

A total ‘girls’ thing’. As a bloke, you’ll just smell a bit odd in that, and not in a good way. The battery life is terrible – it runs out before you even get to your car. It’s simply a fragrance without soul, without imagination and without staying power.
