The ideal cable for the camera. It costs next to nothing and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It is worth bearing in mind that this price is achieved through the extreme thinness of the wires; I’d guess they’re at least AWG 34, but perhaps even finer – though, of course, the manufacturer doesn’t boast about this on the cable: -D
However, there was no problem crimping the wires onto the new terminals, and everything worked fine. The slight problem is that the wires inside the protective sheath are loose. They are really very thin, and the heat-shrink tubing is clearly designed for thicker wires. One star off for the swimming.
The cable is practically free at this price. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to clip the tailpiece onto it if I wanted to shorten it (and use the rest elsewhere), but it wasn't a problem. The price is absolutely unbeatable and the quality of the cable is absolutely sufficient for normal home networking for 1Gbit network. Actually, when I saw the price, I was expecting some kind of hook, because 30 meters of cable for 70 or 80Kč seemed like a misprint. But no problem so far, and since I bought 10 pcs at once, I probably have enough CAT5 cable for the rest of my life. But of course you cannot expect any shielding. So for me it is a cable for home network at a great price.
