I have a while yet and I'm trying which coffee will be the best for the capsules. It must not be filled to the brim. I'll see how long it lasts, but it's plastic. So far, I rate them about 70 to 30 that they are ok.
When I grind the coffee more finely, even if I don't rush it, the lid opens and the water runs around because it has trouble flowing through the bottom. I put a notch coarser coffee, and what comes out is more like treated water than a hint of coffee.
The measuring cup is for 3g, not 10g, as the manufacturer states. Really only for one scoop, if you put more, Dolce "chokes" and the capsule under pressure leaks through the seal. Suitable for Ristretto only, max. for an espresso, a little coffee. I use at work so a small coffee suits (breaks are short 🤣). Or you make a lungo for 2x, from one batch it's a churifunda. 😝

It does not foam, I use the same coffee as in the machine.
