I purchased the dryer new in early April 2022. The first time I dried it, it started making a loud percussive sound - like a drum hitting the dryer wall. After a complaint procedure was initiated, alza exchanged us piece for piece. The second dryer (identical model) made the same sound. Believing that it was a trivial fault, I called the Czech distribution of Hoover, which could not be reached even after three attempts. So I described my experience via an email questionnaire, where after 24 hours the service technician replied that the noise would settle down after 15 cycles.
I uploaded a video (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/IgJ9cLALSGM) to the technician just to be sure, because it was impossible to last 15 cycles in this rumble. My nerves got the better of me and after the first cycle, I started another complaint procedure with Alsa, where we chose a dryer from another manufacturer. Two days after I had everything sorted out with Alsa, I got a call from a Hoover service operator to set up an appointment with a technician (which I hadn't even booked). So much for the Hoover distributor for the Czech Republic.
So, perfect Alza's actions, operators and complaint technicians are top notch! About Hoover (even though I was a big fan of the brand until now) I'm sorry to say.
