A very nice product that doesn't pretend to be anything. Green was bought for a relative, at home we have Home Assistant in Docker on our own Linux machine, with all the inconvenience that entails. Green, on the other hand, runs straight on Home Assistant OS, which feels surprisingly adult and comfortable. Automatic updates, backups, everything runs fast, the box is nice, everything needed in the package, zero consumption. If you don't want to buy a Raspberry, case, memory card, power supply and flash Hass OS, but want a similar level of performance, buy Green. But if you need anything more, Green won't be for you.

I finally managed to integrate all the devices I have at home from different manufacturers under one platform
You really only need to plug it into a socket and LAN and HomeAssistant will start up without complicated installation
Allows for very advanced automation and even programming of custom extensions
If you buy the SkyConnect adapter, it can also be used as a ZigBee gateway
For some brands, integration is more difficult and requires a community store (e.g. Tapo)
If you want to control HA outside your home network (and you don't have a public IP) you have to pay for the cloud (which is not the primary goal of HA)

It can be used to connect protocols that apple doesn't handle. It runs at home without connecting anywhere outside, it can be used as a bridge for other zigbee products that run under apple home. For example, you can steam roborock into apple home...it doesn't stop there, of course
