When I bought this washing machine, there weren’t many reviews for it and I was worried there might be a problem with it. As for reliability, I can’t say, as I’ve only had it for a month. But when it comes to washing and drying, it’s absolutely brilliant. It’s much better than I expected. It’s better than the best Samsung model I’ve ever owned (which cost thirty-five thousand four years ago). Basically, this washing machine is better in every way than my previous model, which was top of the range. I wasn't expecting that. At the same time, the washing machine is surprisingly quiet – it makes me realise just how noisy the previous one was. Washing at night is no problem. What’s more, the drying function is really brilliant. It’s a quiet drying process and hardly any lint is left in the washing machine, unlike with other washing machines, which carry lint away through the drain. In this case, there is a built-in filter – a feature common to most tumble dryers – and this filter is absolutely brilliant for everyday drying (but you do need to clean it!) ). What’s more, this washing machine’s drum has a capacity of twelve kilos and spins at 1,600 revolutions per minute, which is something hardly anyone else has. I have to say that the washing machine has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I hope it will prove just as reliable, as I want it to last me a really long time; Hisense has certainly gone up a notch in my estimation. As for the app, it’s handy; displays messages such as ‘wash cycle complete’ or ‘clean the filter’. It doesn’t say anything else, which is great, but you can switch it off. The washing machine’s controls are relatively intuitive, even though they’re touchscreen, and both my wife and I got the hang of them quite quickly. What’s more, there’s the added bonus that it offers several washing options within a single programme, allowing for flexibility in terms of time: I have a programme X for washing and drying that takes 6 hours. Can I adjust some of the programmes so that they only take 3 hours for washing and drying, bearing in mind that the laundry won’t be 100 per cent dry, but 90 per cent, which is often quite sufficient? Basically, this washing machine is absolutely brilliant, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning to buy a new washer-dryer combo who can afford it.
