The device ran for a couple of months without glitches but then the HDD stopped loading. The recorder was sent for complaint including the network power supply. It was not accepted because alza requires to send cameras that are not subject to the complaint. If you have these installed by a company on a house at a height (my case for example), it means an unnecessary expense for a rig or climber that the vendor can't stand up to. As a hardware and electrical specialist I know that it is possible to diagnose a fault in both the recorder and the HDD without the cameras in question, so I find it ridiculous to read the claims of a non-expert from alza about how they are not able to perform diagnostics without the cameras in question and that it is necessary to send them together with the recorder even though it contradicts Czech commercial laws. Even to my offer that I will send only those cameras that are accessible from a lower height alza no longer responds. Definitely a waste of money for me. The seller has a big minus after many years of satisfaction with my person
