We’ve had the grinder for about two weeks and I’m happy with it. At that price, I couldn’t find any other coffee grinder with stepless adjustment and good reviews (though I had to look beyond Czech websites to find them). I use the grinder for what’s known as ‘single dosing’, which involves weighing each individual portion of coffee before grinding. Thanks to the stepless grind setting, I have no trouble fine-tuning the grind for each new batch of coffee in just two or three attempts, and the grind is then consistent and just right for a great home-made espresso. We use a standard De’Longhi Dedica lever-operated coffee machine, but with a non-pressurised filter without a base, so you can see that the grinder is able to grind the coffee consistently – as the open lever would otherwise visibly sputter.

The lid could be fitted more effectively; I have a feeling the rubber seal will wear out over time. But hopefully it’ll be available to buy as a spare part, or, at worst, it can be printed on a 3D printer.
