Just always brilliant and original Hermes. At first, it feels sharp, soapy, as if I were buying it for my grandfather to celebrate the Civil Defence anniversary in the 1970s. But as they say, a perfect perfume needs time to show its true "face". A quarter of an hour after applying it to your skin, you start to think that it's not so bad, after half an hour peppery and earthy scents start to emerge, after another moment fresh grapefruit and citrus scents start to emerge. This mix eventually creates a wonderful fragrance that is original, unobtrusive, unencumbering yet intense and beautiful. For me personally, this perfume is one of the best. But as I write in the introduction. The best things need their time to excel and thus become perfect.
