Beware of this product, the load capacity is not the max load capacity, but the weight of the thing pulled by this winch e.g. boat max weight 5
40kg stretched on a trolley behind the car. REALISTIC AND PROBABLY SAFE LOAD CAPACITY IS ABOUT 150KG. I was lifting a 220kg load with it and the axle that the strap is attached to bent. With a load of 220kg, the crank can hardly be turned anymore.
Probably just the pretty color of the strap.
It does not meet the parameters, it does not give the mentioned 540kg as load capacity.
The latch works in one direction only, the downward movement is not locked.
Completely poor workmanship for the stated parameters. I'll file a complaint.
