It is absolutely essential to know exactly what it will be used for and what is expected of this "lens". It is not an automatic "upgrade in quality/features" of the camera, in many cases very well designed software lenses are better suited. My first reaction was that I would return the "lens" but in the end I will keep it since I bought it and we will see. Maybe I'll see the firmware because currently the top of the industry is a bit different and it could be worked on here.
