The same disadvantage as with all current products, namely the volume control instead of the classic potentiometer. For example. 3 is not enough, 4 is too much. Yet from a setting beyond half volume, the speaker still doesn't track. It could be max. volume lower and then the regulation on the low setting finer. But as I say, the bane of all current products.
