In the field, it is better to attach the navigation better to the holder, for example with adhesive tape, because a few times my navigation flew on the ground after a large pothole
GPS usually holds the bike in the correct position
On uneven terrain (bumpy forest roads, cat heads, washed out asphalt) the GPS easily loosens and falls out. If I didn't have a durable GPSmap 62 and a little luck, I would have already destroyed or lost it: more than once on forest roads, on a small pothole at higher speeds (the gpska has several new grooves in the rubber since then), more than once on cat heads in Prague (it really pisses a person off when he is riding at a crossroads on Malostranska street and his GPS falls out of the bike in the middle! ). I'm temporarily solving it by "docking" at critical moments, but I'd rather focus on the road instead.
