I bought it to cut things 5/5. The other function is decorative for me, but I guess if you don't have a proper climper at hand, it might work after some practice
Considering these are pliers, they're really good quality. I cut a live cable with them today and the hole from the burnout isn't that big. Otherwise, the insulation is good, I didn't get a shock, so that's good :)
You can chip 3mm gardening ( but that's probably the limit)
