My motorcycle handlebars seem to have a specific diameter, and using the correct cutoff ring I would welcome a longer +5mm bolt.

I don't recommend it on a motorcycle. During the first ride, the tightening screw that holds the phone itself loosens spontaneously by the vibration of the bike. It happens so slowly that you don't notice it until your own phone is on the ground next to you in a curve and you've dropped it. Avoid this and buy a better quality holder like a quadlock. in the end it's cheaper than a new phone
totally unsuitable for a motorcycle. the tightening screw is loosened by vibration.
