So far the scissors have lived up to expectations. They have pruned two long neglected and overgrown larger apple trees. A pile of branches must have come down. Everything without the slightest problem. Thanks to the long handles and toothed mechanism, the resulting force on the blades is sufficient to cut branches with a diameter of around 5 cm. And there were countless of them. The opening of the blades is sufficient for deployment on such thick branches. The scissors are lightweight, so handling is pleasant. But of course, thanks to the longer handles, only a person of larger stature can make full use of them, especially if the scissors need to be opened to their full potential. The scissor mechanism is already nicely lubricated with vaseline from the factory, so there will be no worries about lubrication for a while. Even the packaging of the scissors is handy. There is a protective plastic cover on the blades - sheath, and so far it looks like it can be used permanently. Overall, I'm glad I paid extra for a branded product. However, it is still too early for a full assessment. It remains to be seen how many seasons the scissors will last fully functional, without much play, and how quickly they will dull. But they're really nice to work with. I recommend it.
So far the scissors are working as they should. They cut thicker branches easily. They're light.
