the locking flaps are quite stiff, sometimes I feel like I'm going to break the flap. Maybe it'll get better with time. It would need some kind of swivel platform on top so that the whole tripod doesn't have to rotate, especially when leveling with a vertical beam.
I haven't come across such a well thought out product in a long time. The case is blue with red trim and an adjustable strap. It can be worn on the back, over the shoulder and over the head, but it's quite tight.
The tripod is colour coded: the controls are in orange, so they're easy to find. The exception is the reduction which has a black colour and a slightly different shape: the height and diameter of the support base is approximately 18 to 27 mm.
The movement of the struts on the central bar can be locked by means of a rotating ring. This significantly strengthens the entire tripod. The elliptical shape of the legs also contributes to the strengthening, which I find a bit more stable than the round shape.
I have experimented with loads up to 13 kg. The extension rod started to go down first, after a proper tightening it could bear the load. The crank was also able to pick up this load and when lowering it rewarded me by almost slipping out of my hand.
The middle rod can be unscrewed, so if you are bothered by the swing of the extendable rod as you move it you can attach some sort of restraint to the middle rod.
