I bought the pump based on the reviews here - the goal was to drop it into a rainwater tank and pump it into the Gardena water line around the garden. The Karcher water plant (above ground) lasted almost 10 years in the same location. This pump bravely made it through the entire 2 months. I bought two pumps to rule out a defective product. The extol technical support assured me that the pressure switch is set to the transport height (40m) which corresponds to about 4bar, however the switching pressure is set to 1,5 bar, at least according to the manual, realistically I would see it around 2,5 bar, at least according to the height when the pump is still switching.
