Misleading product description and answers in the help section. The adapter cannot be used to connect Lenovo E15 G2 Win10 (HDMI) -> reduction -> (DisplayPort) Samsung S80A.
It is supposed to work as a reduction in the direction from HDMI output to DP input. It doesn't work on either of my monitors (HP, Iiyama), although both work normally on pure DP. HDMI cable tested, functional. I'll file a complaint.
