The scales themselves are nice; they work well in the sense that they switch on, display a random reading, and connect to the app. However, the calibration is completely off – for one thing, there’s a variation of more than 100g between each weighing – which makes it completely unusable for determining the amount of milk drunk when the portions are in the tens of grams – the stated accuracy of 5g is actually just information about the size of the increments in which the scales calculate, so the figures are displayed in multiples of 5g, but this certainly does not allow you to determine whether the child has drunk 50 or 150g of milk. Furthermore, it is generally very inaccurate and poorly calibrated – compared with the calibrated scales at the paediatrician’s, there is repeatedly a difference of over 200g, both upwards and downwards (measured under the same conditions without clothing; any weight loss due to urine or stools does not account for such a large variation) – therefore, the scales are unusable even for monitoring a child’s weight gain. Given that these two functions are the only things the scales are supposed to do perfectly, all that’s really left is an expensive, bulky height chart for measuring a child’s height – which is, admittedly, accurate and provides consistently reliable readings – but otherwise the scales are useless for their intended purpose.

I think it's a shame that this scale hasn't had a response. For me, sufficient to monitor the weight of the child. It's borderline usable for post-breastfeeding, but great for the money. If you want or need to deal with every gram, don't get one in this price range, rather consider renting something like they have in the maternity ward for a few months (you can get one for 12k). I checked the weight with 2x1.5l PET, the kitchen scale showed 3083g, this scale 3070-3090g, depending on the position on the scale. I tried it multiple times a few hours apart with the same result.
