The mirror is made of safety glass, not reflective film = that is why it is more expensive. This means you can see beautifully into the distance, which isn’t the case with those fitted with reflective film.
It can be removed quickly without tools – you just need to unscrew it – which comes in handy if you’re in a hurry to pack a folding bike into your car in the rain or in the dark.
On the front, there’s a flat area where you can stick a reflector (this isn’t included in the pack; I cut one out myself from some 3M Diamond Grade film I bought elsewhere)
Fitting it requires an Allen key; it cannot be done without a tool. That Allen key is not included.
Unfortunately, they only make the left-hand ones. The genuine version isn’t available on the manufacturer’s website either.
