Worse was the installation, according to the instructions absolutely not at all. The downloaded software that it offered me did not connect the scanner, even with repeated attempts. So I tried going to the Epson site and I guess I entered the serial number of the scanner in the support tab. The subsequent software that appeared for download already worked great and the scanner connected without any problems. So if that doesn't work, try this..: -)
