Unfortunately, the device cannot be used reliably due to freezing and general malfunctioning. If the hub is permanently connected to the mains adapter, it will get stuck after some time (after a few hours or so). This happens even if the laptop is not connected to it. When I then connect the laptop to it, the hub does not respond at all - it does not charge and even the connected peripherals (mouse, keyboard) do not work via the USB ports. Because of this defect, the device had to go to a complaint, but I no longer have confidence in the product, so I can not evaluate whether the replacement for a new piece does not suffer from this defect. The product from AlzaPower at half the price works reliably.
