Shipped with a completely dead battery which is bad for longevity
The display went off after a few minutes of charging
The manufacturer provides a firmware update program as well as the firmware itself, but an error occurs every time when flashing
It is not clear which firmware file is intended for this product. The player has a 14 digit P/N, the files have 4 digits, the manufacturer states that you must not upload the wrong file even for a test to determine which is the correct one

Absolutely illogical controls. Use the right and left buttons to move up and down in the menu. If you are playing a song and navigating through the menu, it is virtually impossible to return to the song you are playing.
The cable connected from the side interferes with the buttons. It is almost impossible to operate the player with one (adult) hand.
For longer song titles and longer menu items, the moving text is completely illegible
The clip on the back is so loose that the player comes loose when walking, let alone running. Nothing to do but keep it in your pocket.
