For some hobby DIY, probably ok. but for a man who needs it daily and can rely on it 100%, it's useless. to measure with one tip and spark against the switchboard with the other, I don't think I've ever seen. maybe a faulty device, maybe they all don't do it. I'm sending it in for a complaint
