This is our first robotic vacuum cleaner and we're thrilled with it because it saves you loads of work in a big house. It cleans very well. Or rather, the vacuuming part is a little weaker; our Rowenta definitely does a better job, but it also has a better nozzle for vinyl that moves along the vinyl and doesn't suck anything from the sides, only underneath. This one has rotating brushes with suction behind them, so it sometimes leaves a crumb behind, even when we set the suction power to MAX. It does a decent job along the edges and gets into places we couldn't reach with a classic vacuum cleaner (under cabinets with higher legs, 8–10cm). We're happy with the mopping; there's nothing to complain about there. What's a bit more difficult is cleaning a different floor. It scans the other floor well, but the actual cleaning is more complicated. On the floor where we have the station, we select mopping after vacuuming, where the robot vacuums everything first and then mops, so you don't have to worry about a thing and come back to a finished job. The other option, where it vacuums and mops at the same time, seems to be of lower quality, so we don't use it. On the second floor, it's not that easy. You have to select vacuuming only for the entire floor (the mops would probably dry out, so it reports an error), then once that's done, you have to carry it back, where it does what it needs to, and once it's ready, you switch to the floor with the station and select mopping only (so it comes out with washed mops), stop it, carry it upstairs, finish the cycle on the spot, switch the map and start the mopping (they could really simplify this whole process in the app). It usually mops the other floor fine in one go, but for 100m2 it's better to have it wash the mops twice. It's just complicated to operate, although it's still better than doing it yourself, that's for sure. I'm looking into whether I can get a second station; that would significantly improve the convenience. We don't mind carrying it, but the operation itself requires your time. As for obstacles, we don't have any thresholds except for an approx. 0.5cm high one in the cloakroom, which it scanned and doesn't cross unnecessarily. When it approaches the stairs, the sensor alerts it and it immediately reverses, but I've set a no-go zone on the staircase just in case. What it struggles with are low-profile obstacles on the floor. For example, it detects the mats under the workout bench (0.5cm high foam puzzle mats) as dirt and then spends an extremely long time going over them, trying nonsensically to wash them :D Anything that's about 10–20cm high is fine; it goes around it without any problem. We also had a 4cm high wooden board under the cot, and it identified it as a threshold, kept trying to go over it, and I had to remove it. It's slightly lacking a feature to teach it things yourself, like telling it 'this isn't what you think it is' and how it should behave, etc. But otherwise, it's a TOP machine that saves loads of time. It can do a 100m2 floor in about 3–3.5h, which is fine. You can't really run it at night; it makes a terrible racket, both vacuuming and mopping (when it's washing the mops). I'd buy it again, although maybe just the x50 which is cheaper, and I'd buy 2 of them straight away.
