Dreame offers interesting products – if everything worked as it should, they would be almost perfect. But unfortunately, that's not the case. Just like the Dreame X50 robot vacuum cleaner, this vacuum also has software issues that sometimes make it practically unusable. As with many Chinese products, the software simply lags behind, but here we're not just talking about minor flaws – the firmware problems can render the vacuum completely inoperable. I'm already on my second unit. On the first one, the squeegee activation stopped working due to a mechanical fault – the mechanism kept getting stuck. Now I have the second unit, and the problems continue. Not only did it arrive with a damaged squeegee that misses spots on the left side and leaves puddles, but the firmware has also gone haywire. For example, it lowers the squeegee when moving forward but raises it when moving backward. Other times, it won't lower it at all after being switched on.Sometimes it starts just for the sake of it, and other times everything works normally. Another problem is with the drive. Even at minimum power, when I fully extend my arm, the wheels start to slip slightly. I could live with that. What's worse is when the wheels seem to be permanently in brake mode – they're hard to turn and the electronics resist movement in practically all directions. It often helps to leave the vacuum to “rot” for a while. I guess the electronics go to sleep in the meantime, and when it wakes up again, the firmware reboots and suddenly everything works again. It’s missing one crucial button: RESTART. And ideally, it should be huge and right on top, because it would probably be the most used button. When I want to vacuum, I really don't want to wait for the program in the vacuum to come to its senses and start working properly. What on earth is it running on? Windows? 🤣 So, all in all, it’s one big disappointment.

This is a very high quality product from a Chinese brand. Modern ergonomics and design, clear and large display that shows everything you need. The larger size and weight is the logical reason that this floor washer has a worse controllability. But it has a larger battery capacity and can last longer. During testing, this machine had no problem with wet spots, which it removed on the first try and left the floor almost dry and clean. A small problem arises if you want to remove larger solid impurities or solid impurities together with water. The machine has a sterk installed on the cartridge head, which does not allow it to hold these bulkier inactives. But the tube can be removed and then there should be no problem. However, it can happen that pieces of debris get stuck in the cartridge head or in small folds, so it is good to check the device after cleaning and possibly clean it. The self-cleaning program will certainly help with this. When you place the device in the charging and self-cleaning station after cleaning, its program reliably cleans from the card to the suction tube. After the end, most of the uncleanings should be disposed of. The device works well and performed everything as declared by the manufacturer. There were no major problems with it. It can therefore be recommended.

It also works for cleaning in the corners of the room and against walls - when the cartridge head gets close to the wall, the device increases the power and sucks in the dirt.
Due to the spout located at the front of the cartridge head, it can be a problem to suck in larger solid impurities or solid particles together with water. In this case, the scraper must be removed before cleaning, otherwise there is a risk that the impurities will stick in the gaps of the scraper.
The clean water tank is quite difficult to remove from the machine. But this phenomenon may eventually subside.
