It's probably fine for occasional home laminating of a few sheets. I've had it for three months, I've laminated over 1,000 pages with it, and unfortunately, it's not working as it should at the moment. It often bends the corners as the already laminated paper comes out – and yes, on the side where the laminating pouch is sealed, i.e., the one that goes into the laminator first. During my last laminating session, I had this problem with about every third page, which just isn't ideal. I'm laminating with 125 mic pouches, so not even the thickest ones you can use with this laminator.
It's also quite slow, so it depends on how many pages you need to laminate and how regularly. If it's for occasional use and just a few sheets, I'd go for it. But if you need it more often, you'll lose your patience with it, and I recommend investing in something better.
