After years of ruined, broken, cracked plastic or chipped wooden (poor quality) pegs, I decided to go with this Czech and slightly more expensive product and I regret only one thing. I've been using something else for years. These pins are just perfect and great to use. They're really not wrong. Honest beech wood, where the years go straight, so the peg won't break, won't split. They have an honest spring thread next to the thread. Unlike pegs from Vietnamese markets, where the wood is some kind of conifer that will split in weak flight rings, or there's even tree bark on the peg and the spring has half the coils, it's weak, so it soon gets tired (the peg stops locking). You can use the plastic pegs at home in the bathroom. Outside, the sun burns them out and the plastic goes to hell. You can keep these pins from Dipra Proseč outside as long as you want. I've started to like hanging laundry on the line again, and at least over the summer I want to save the dryer and be eco-friendly (reduce electricity consumption). I thought the days of the quality pins my mom used were over. It's not true. Thank you for a great product.
