The dimensions of the tarpaulin don't match the declared ones at all. It's 15cm shorter in width and 12cm in length. This is really noticeable, especially on a smaller tarp; 185 x 288cm is definitely not 2 x 3m. The packaging does state in small print that the listed dimensions are calculated from the base material before it's folded and reinforced at the edges, but the customer doesn't care about that when they're ordering a tarp of a specific size. There's not a single word about this in Alza's descriptions. So for me, it's a disappointment and incredibly frustrating when it holds up the work I need to do. We're returning it.
Strong tarpaulin, the 120g/m2 material seems OK.
Small dimensions, misleading descriptions

The tarpaulin is not the declared size. The packaging states in very small print that 5x8m is the size of the material from which the tarpaulin is made and the final size can be up to 10% smaller (7.2x4.5m). It was therefore not big enough to cover a roof that is 8m long. I consider this to be a misleading practice on the part of the manufacturer. When making a purchase, customers are not interested in the size of the material the tarpaulin was made from, but in the final size of the product. Alza should explicitly state this in the product description.
