Cameras work well as a simple source of images, but in my experience, much of the information in the product description is inaccurate or highly misleading. It is possible that some features were taken from another model. Alza should check and correct the specifications so that other customers do not base their decisions on them. The camera does not have a speaker and does not support two-way audio, a welcome message or an audible alarm. It cannot even carry out the specified counting of people and vehicles. General motion detection isn’t working – at least on my two units – and events are only triggered by AI detection of people and vehicles. It does not detect animals or other movement. Detection zones are also a problem. They can be drawn in the app, but they appear misaligned on different devices and, in practice, do not have the expected effect. Detection takes place mainly in the central part of the image, regardless of the selected area. The camera management system is very confusing. The web interface isn’t usable; the app differs between Android, iOS and Windows, and I had trouble using the same account simultaneously on Android and an iPad. Even the ONVIF and CGI standards that are advertised are not fully functional. The video feed can be connected via ONVIF, but advanced events, working with recordings on the SD card and integration with Synology Surveillance Station do not work properly. The Dahua camera will not connect using its native profile; as a generic ONVIF camera, it functions only as a simple video stream without any intelligent features. CGI isn't working at all, not even with the manufacturer's original "ConfigTool" application. If I hadn’t already had the cameras fitted, I would return them. Not because of the quality of the image itself, but because of the fundamental difference between the specified features and what the camera actually offers.
