Product great, documentation inadequate, customer service for setup basically nil, cooperation with Windows ended up somewhere on the level of Windows 10
Great sound, especially in conjunction with a classic analogue audio system
With the Souldblaster GS5 soundbar, great for casual music or podcasts
After disabling the Realtek on-board card in the BIOS, the computer also stopped moving sound between the sound cards, which was hell.
For gamers maybe great, for those of us who work with music or podcasts it's an amazing life enhancement: )
I give 5* for the final state and quality of the product, not for user friendliness: (
Complicated to connect and set up correctly
It is not a "plug & play" product but as with everything related to sound in Win 11, Widle tries to make the optimal settings according to the ears of some half-deaf programmer.
Nowhere is there a warning about the cabling, only with a really HiFi cabling it plays as it should.
Endless updates until it finally plays as it should.
I won't return the card, but it is not worth 5000kč and I can't resist some disappointment due to the parameters of the card, there is not much difference in sound quality compared to the 4x cheaper Asus xonar SE card, the card would have a price tag more like 3000kč.
well packed
card backlight (soundblaster logo)
headphone terminal on the cable with volume wheel (I don't have to constantly switch speakers and headphones and just switch in the software)
very high price
the back of the card has no shielding (metal shield, ferrite shield)
It cannot encode to DTS via optics. If a person googles it, but it' s a mockery, they can lose every Realtek on the board and after the hack, it' s possible to control the volume and win kkarta for 5000😭
Very good sound quality, good software. What more can I say?
I have the card for my home theater, which is connected via an optical cable. For the price, though, I'd imagine the card would at least have HDMI so one could play sounds like DTS-HD or TrueHD at full bitrate.
