I was worried about the power from the USB laptop, but fortunately unnecessarily. It's small, it's compact, it works. For people like me who want to make one or at most two pancakes a year and otherwise have it ready in a drawer, ideal.
The connection cables directly from the burner are too short. But only with them can the burner be used. The additional included cable only provides power. Even after adding another cable, the computer does not recognize the burner.
I have already bought ( elsewhere) a mobile phone holder for my car from ConnectIT. Not everyone has to agree with me, but I haven't had a better holder yet. That's why my choice fell on this burner. Well, the instructions disappointed me. The burner has lots of little things in it that can come in handy (basically a USB hub, SD and microSD card reader ) in a small space. Just an ALL-IN-ONE burner ( as they say nowadays ).
A well thought out piece and a good choice in my opinion. Except for the documentation, but what do we want .

At the back are additional USB connectors (USB-A 2x, USB-C 1x ) and SD card readers. I inserted a flash drive into the USB-A connector and the system found it. USB-C is labeled POWER, I guess it's auxiliary power for the drive and ports, I don't know.
The burner has the ability to connect to both USB-A and USB-C, maybe someone will take advantage of that.
The documentation is terrible, generic, does not reveal anything (e.g. what is another USB-C connector on the back for.
