We bought the box as a short-term emergency for our apartment (AC230V usage). The box does what it is supposed to do, it can't compare to a classic fridge, but that's understandable. It will keep food and drink cool, definitely extend their life. PS: the beer cools it down just right.
The workmanship is a bit cheaper, but forgivable relative to the price - I didn't encounter a problem on functionality. It's also a shame that the direction of the cold air blowing out of the cold finning isn't somehow better directed downwards - it just blows somehow. I haven't measured the power consumption, but if it consumes 55W it's not really suitable for continuous operation.
