To set the wake-up time, it is imho necessary to turn the wake-up hand in the opposite direction. I assume that the AA battery is long-lasting (in addition, a high-quality Panasonic battery is included in the package). This Casio TQ 140 can also serve imho very well as a travel watch, due to its dimensions and light weight.
