A good multifunction at a good price. I suppose it could last me 3-4 years, then I'll throw it away again and buy a similar new one (after a while it's not worth buying refills and printing deteriorates over time with inkjet)
good printer at a good price
seamless setup, I didn't need the installation CD at all (Mac)
paper tray both at the back and at the bottom (I needed this, I have the printer in a drawer under my bed)
the scanner works differently than the previous multifunction printer - I can see the detailed paper texture (every little bump) and overall it's a bit lower contrast, I'll probably have to play around with it some more

Somehow I can't get the printer to communicate "normally". Probably a problem between the keyboard and the chair, but if the last "CANON" fired on the first step, here "the printer does not communicate", and I give a print, I have to turn off and on the computer and it prints the saved print queue. The copier works normally.
Paper tray under the printer, saves space at home.
