It is translucent, not transparent, there is no need to have any exaggerated expectations from this feature.
So far, I have only pushed smaller light guides, which work a bit as expected - the layers conduct light quite well, but the light does not pass very well between them - so you need to choose the orientation and pattern appropriately when slicing.
The fiber had a higher susceptibility to cracking than other PLA filaments, so I probably wouldn' t push models / parts with small details from this PLA.
