As soon as the charger was delivered today, I started testing it straight away. Once the terminal had been connected to the battery and the charger plugged into the socket, it immediately switched to 12V AGM charging mode, and it was not possible to select a different charging mode using the "MODE" button. I kept looking through the manual I’d downloaded to see where I was going wrong. At first, I wondered whether it might be a faulty (delivered) charger.
On about my fourth attempt, I disconnected the positive terminal from the battery and suddenly I was able to change the mode on the charger using the ‘MODE’ button. When the positive terminal was then connected to the battery, the charger finally began charging in the required mode.
My conclusion, therefore, is that there are probably errors in the manual, likely due to the translation. I hope this will be of help to anyone else who might be interested in this charger.
