The strongest point of this device is tradition (it has been produced unchanged for many years), so it has become synonymous with the label maker. Simple, robust, ideal for deployment at home or in a small business. On the other hand, I was surprised how outdated the design is from today's perspective. It's not rechargeable, it only works on pencil batteries and takes six of them. It even rejects NiMH batteries, claiming BATT LOW immediately after insertion. Furthermore, there is no possibility of collaboration with a computer, no advance label preparation or backup.
