The pellets are fine. The cat likes them. They work out cheaper than tinned food and can be stored at room temperature; you just need to reseal the bag – unfortunately, Velcro isn’t airtight. Like all dry food, we only give it as a supplement, so that the cat’s kidneys don’t fail. Even if there is plenty of drinking water or a drinking fountain, this won’t force a cat to drink enough. And compared to tinned ones, they’re quite high in calories.
