We chose this model for its low consumption and lowest noise level. We were deciding between top of the range Bosch, Siemens and Samsung models. Within a few days of purchase we tried about 10 cycles with different types of clothes. Apart from the first drying, I have always been happy with the result. It's more about setting the program parameters well. The dryer has a very elegant design with a nice touch screen. Fortunately, we can cope with English, because only a total ignoramus could think that the customer would stick a sticker with Czech on the panel. That would kill it all. I can recommend it for us.

The manual is impractical and without Bosch support I couldn't get a good understanding of the programs. The description of the Hygiene Plus program is vague, so it's not clear exactly what it does differently from the regular Cotton program and why I should use it.
There is no information about the length of the programmes, so we were unpleasantly surprised by drying lasting more than 4 hours.
The Iron Assist programme requires dry laundry to be input, whereas our previous dryer did not

We bought the Bosch Serie 8 dryer (for about 30 000 CZK) with an eye on German quality and reliability, mainly because of the upcoming birth of our child. Unfortunately, the reality is quite the opposite. We bought the dryer on November 26, 2025. On December 27, 2025 (after exactly one month of operation! ) stopped working. It reports error E30-03 (supposedly Aquastop/water in the base), but the dryer is almost dry inside. Official Bosch service is a chapter in itself. The technician arrived on 2/1/2026 and openly admitted that he didn't know exactly what was wrong. Supposedly this is a software bug that they have "seen before" with this type, but they are solving it by ordering a new control unit by trial and error. The worst thing is the service communication: They refuse to give me the service report from the technician's visit (which is illegal).
Waiting weeks for parts (availability after Jan 19th ).
The technician just stated "hopefully it will work then". Instead of making it easier to work with a newborn, we have a month old, non-functioning 30k piece of junk at home with zero support from the manufacturer. If you are considering the Bosch Serie 8, avoid it out of hand. Looks like a defective series that the service can't diagnose or fix quickly.
