We replaced our 13+ year old washing machine with a Bosch WGH256A6BY and the difference is really significant. This is most evident in the consumption - despite the significantly larger drum capacity, we are roughly at half the electricity consumption. I like the automatic adjustment of the amount of water and the length of the program according to the load, so the washing machine does not waste unnecessarily.
The i-DOS detergent gel dosing also works great - the savings in this respect are very real and probably the biggest convenience change for me.
I didn't need Wi-Fi initially, but I ended up appreciating the notifications from the app - the program completion alerts come in handy when the washing machine isn't in full view. Overall, the washing machine is of good quality, it is quiet and you can tell that it is a few generations newer appliance.

We changed the washing machine after 10 years. I came to the BOSH brand by chance, because we needed to get a cheap dishwasher, and we randomly reached for this brand, some piece in a sale that was the cheapest. The dishwasher washes very well, much better than our preferred brand. When our washing machine started to run out of steam, we thought we'd give this brand a try. So we're going the old way, the way we've been used to doing laundry for years. ALZA services were also fine. If the aquastop isn't there I didn't think to investigate, but the washing machine is in the laundry room, there's a drain ball in the floor, so hopefully nothing will happen. Over the years we have never had anything happen to our washing machines, never needed to deal with anything even through complaints. So hopefully this piece will confirm that statistic. It's hard to write a full review yet. Washer tested 3 times and always fine. The big minus is the manual. Just pairing it with the phone was a problem. This is poorly described in the manual. Somewhere in the review I found that the pairing is triggered only when the "snake is chasing its tail". Then everything went without a problem. If the washing machine is started via the phone, it must be switched on. So you can't load the washing machine and then remember at work that it's chi to run it. The scanning and automatic dosing is great. As well as recessing according to the laundry, soiling. The program is then saved to your favourites and you don't have to do it all over again. I was hesitating between LG-Samsung-Bosch. I am loyal to the Bosch brand. For this appliance we used the Alza home delivery service. The washing machine is really very heavy. Only the manufacturer could have protected such a nice appliance during transport with better transport packaging. The fighters were clever and careful. They came on Sunday and took the old washing machine straight away. The washing machine has already had x washing cycles and I am very satisfied. Setting the washing programme using the app is great. Each programme can be customised to suit your needs. It's just a pity that you can't permanently switch on the remote control - just like with the dishwasher. You have to press the button(Remote Start) before each wash and then you set it up and start the wash on your phone. Be careful not to be surprised by AquaSTOP (like me). The washing machine does not have a classic AQS on the supply hose. The one with the el. Mag. valve at the horn and closes in case of a burst supply hose. Only the most expensive models have that. Hopefully it will last long the original (Boška) lasted 14 years.
