I don't know if it's normal for a mixer to arrive with a black cord when a white one is advertised, either way it looks weird. There is a lot of play in the whisks, especially on the left one - it's a miracle that the whisks don't touch each other when switched on, there is a space of about one millimetre between them and the mixer knocks all over when switched on. We had the weaker 500W version before, it lasted slightly over two years and performed better than this higher/more expensive version.
