Easy to use, it offers a choice of wood types. It has a three-colour LED, which lets you see at a glance what the wood’s moisture content is, without even having to look at the display. A green indicator light means the wood is well-dried with low moisture content; an orange light indicates wood that is slightly damp but still within the limit; and a red light indicates moisture content above the limit. So you know exactly where you stand straight away. I’m happy with it; the meter is affordable and works perfectly well for my purposes of checking the approximate moisture content of firewood.
